What this site is
Cozy Kitchen Arcade is a home for games we make ourselves. At the moment there are three: Cozy Kitchen Rush, Sweet Match and Kitchen Memory. Each one was designed, illustrated and programmed for this site. We do not embed or re-host games from other publishers.
The site is run as an independent project. It is not affiliated with any restaurant, food brand or game publisher.
Why food games
Cooking is something almost everyone understands. You do not need a tutorial to know that a burger needs a bun or that pancakes go with syrup. That shared knowledge makes food a friendly theme for games: the rules feel familiar from the first minute, which leaves room for the interesting part, which is doing it well under a little pressure.
What we try to stick to
- Games that are complete. Every level, mode and feature described on this site exists and can be played. There are no “coming soon” buttons.
- Honest pages. The guides are written from the games' real rules and numbers, and most tables are generated from the same data the games use.
- No tricks. No fake download buttons, no pop-ups that interrupt play, no pressure to sign up.
- Privacy first. The games work without an account and keep your progress on your own device. See the privacy policy.
- Playable by more people. Touch and mouse controls, sound that can be switched off, pause everywhere, and reduced motion when your device asks for it.
How the site is made
The pages are static and built with Astro; the main game runs on the open-source Phaser 3 framework. The artwork is original vector illustration and the sound effects are synthesized in your browser. There is more detail on the About the Game page.
