1. Using this site
By using Cozy Kitchen Arcade (“the site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The site and its games are offered free of charge for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
2. The games
The games run in your web browser. No installation, account or payment is required. We work to keep them available and working, but we may change, update, pause or remove a game or feature at any time without notice.
Progress is saved in your browser's local storage. Because that data is under the control of your browser and device, we cannot restore progress that is lost, for example after clearing site data or changing device.
3. Ownership
The games, artwork, text, design and code on this site are original works and are protected by copyright. You may play the games and share links to the site. You may not copy, re-host, embed on another website, sell or redistribute the games or their artwork without written permission.
The site uses open-source software, including Astro and Phaser, which remain under their own licenses. The names of third-party products mentioned on the site belong to their owners.
4. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests or interfere with other visitors' use of it;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site's systems;
- use the site for any unlawful purpose.
Changing your own saved game data in your own browser is your business. It affects nobody else, because there are no shared leaderboards.
5. No warranty
The site and games are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. The games are entertainment. The cooking in them is simplified for play and is not culinary or food-safety advice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of the site is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss of saved game progress. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
