Summary
- You can use every part of Cozy Kitchen Arcade without registering or giving us your name or email address.
- Game progress is saved in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
- The site does not currently run analytics scripts, advertising scripts or social media trackers.
- Like any website, our hosting provider processes basic technical data to deliver pages securely.
What is stored on your device
The games use your browser's local storage, a small storage area that belongs to this website on your device. It lets a game remember your progress between visits. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us with page requests, and other websites cannot read it.
| Key | What it holds |
|---|---|
cka:rush:v1 | Cozy Kitchen Rush: unlocked levels, stars and best scores, coins, upgrades, achievements and play totals. |
cka:match:v1 | Sweet Match: unlocked levels, stars and best scores. |
cka:memory:v1 | Kitchen Memory: best results for each difficulty and number of wins. |
cka:sound | Whether you turned game sound on or off. |
None of this identifies you. You can delete it at any time with the reset option inside each game, or by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings. If local storage is blocked, for example in some private browsing modes, the games still work but will not remember your progress.
What we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos or payment details through the games or the pages of this site. There are no user accounts, comment sections or chat features.
Hosting and technical data
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, a hosting and content delivery provider. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, in order to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies for that purpose. This processing is described in Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
If you contact us
If you send us an email, we receive your address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to fix the issue you raised, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Advertising and analytics
This site does not currently show advertising or use analytics. If that changes, for example if we add a privacy-respecting visitor counter or advertising to help fund the site, this policy will be updated first to explain which service is used, what data it processes, whether cookies are involved and what choices you have. Advertising, if added, will never be placed over the game board or require interaction to keep playing.
Children
The games are suitable for a general audience and do not ask anyone, of any age, for personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to external websites, such as the open-source tools the games are built with. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Your choices and rights
Because the game data lives on your device, you control it directly: you can view it in your browser's developer tools and delete it whenever you like. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights regarding personal data held about you, such as the right to access or delete it. As we do not maintain accounts or profiles, in most cases we hold no personal data about visitors, but you are welcome to contact us with any request.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
